Prickly Stars

Prickly stars is almost together. I am now making half square triangles to go around the edge.
Desperately trying to get a few things finished this week like binding on quilts as well.

Trying to get these thing done as I'm off to Nantes next week . Its going to be fun I think as PIC and I will be meeting up with quilters from around the globe once again. 

Were doing a workshop with Di Ford on Wednesday and I for one can't wait to get hold of her new book. 

You can be assured we will eat and drink far to much whilst enjoying great company and spending euro's.

I have just come back from the Pour L'armour dul Fils in Nantes with my PIC Sue .

I couldn't believe how small the plane was but even smaller was the room at the hotel with a glass shower room- thankfully it had a modesty curtain that you pulled round it.

We meet up with friends from around the world again some of which we hadn't seen since the Infinite Variety of Red and White quilts in NYC last year and had a lovely dinner together on Wednesday evening. I don't know how we do it but we always seem to be the noisiest group in the restaurant. It was a fun night  and few days.

Sorry for any peculiar order that this has posted in but blogger had crashed 3 times on me. What is it with me and blogger I feel totally frustrated with how it works now. If it isn't broken blogger why do you keep messing about with it
