Catch me if you can. Well you wouldn't have caught mine as I had flipped a HST if you look at the previous post.
I was just about to shut down for the night when Shannon emailed to let me know what I had done- I wasn't offended at all just pleased a fellow blogger was their to spot my mistake- Like I said more haste less speed.
Thanks Shannon.
This made me giggle. Funny how things can be right before our eyes and we totally miss it. Lovely block. And totally justified to abandon that resolution on Jan 2!
ReplyDeleteSue, it looks great either way. :) Love your colors. I would NEVER make a resolution like that, as I start a new project every time I turn around. I guess I better get my block done, or I'll be behind before you know it.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking the same thing as you: Only one block a week. That's not really a new project. And I have a lovely collection of reproduction fabrics that need a purpose.
ReplyDeleteColor my face red. I admired for your first version, left a comment, and the flipped HST didn't register in my mind. Oops.
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy to do, isn't it?
So, just the one block a week huh? Looks like you'll be MUCH more productive than that - flipped or otherwise, a great start to a new stitching year.
ReplyDeleteHa! Funny how easy it is not to notice isn't it? By the way, I am still making the odd little klosjes block when I have a moment. I don't know what it is about them, but they are so cute! Are you going to keep adding more to the panel you showed us?
ReplyDeleteI didn't even notice the flipped block in your first photo!! They both look great!
ReplyDeleteYes, just one block a week in achievable.
Great block...now we are ready for the next one! I look forward to seeing all the blocks on everyones blogs. By the way, you have a lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have just learnt about more care:)) Just as well someone did let you know, it would be so much worse if you saw it after putting it all together!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit:))
I haven't started on these but have printed out patterns - has she just posted 3? blessings, marlene
