Packing Up

QUILT BOOKS- DO I REALLY NEED THIS MANY?????

Well Its packing up time and I cannot believe how much STUFF I have.OMG those boxes are just full of quilt books! and I don't have any book shelves in the new house. So much of my belonging here have been neatly stored in custom fitted shelving and storage cupboards. I got a feeling I am not going to be unpacking anytime soon.

The 3 chaps have been here all day packing up but I actually packed the books this morning as we seemed to be getting a little behind.
Shaun couldn't believe how many pairs of shoes I have and now calls me Imelda.They  will be back tomorrow to load the van ready for the off on Friday morning. 

So I am signing off for a while as I won't have Internet access for a couple of weeks then I will tell you if all went according to plan.

Meanwhile take a last look at my Cotswold stone house that I have called home for the past 14 years. Yes sad to be leaving but mustn't look back only forward.

I will have a lot of catching up on blogs when I am back on line so while I am away Happy Stitching to you all.

    New adventures all around for you! It will be fun to settle in and arrange your new home.
    We just last night returned home from a week in coastal Maine. The land of quilts! I saw numerous signs, but didn't stop to take al look. I would have wanted to cart a few home. ;-)

    Sue I sincerely wish you well with the move, may you and Mery find comfortable new niches in your new house and eventually you will find just the right places to put up new shelving for all of those books you have. Take some time in between unpacking, it does not all have to be unpacked at once, try to relax cause take it from me moving can tire you to your very core. All the very best

    There is no such thing as "too many quilt books". And besides, books are like old friends, they don't mind if you ignore them for a while, but always have something interesting to say when you see them.

    thinking of you and hoping the move goes smoothly
    and YES you need all those quilt books, they are a great way to spend an afternoon just looking thru, inspiration, learning about antique quilts.
    I guess buying a few book cases is in order!
