Shipton Exhibition

Sorry I've been a bit slow in getting back to post some more photos from our exhibition last weekend. 

These photos are of the room we put together of antique quilts. 

The red and cream is a gorgeous Durham quilt. 
This Amish one was purchased by one of our members from the Esprit collection when it was being sold off. 
Little collection of doll quilts . 



This is an early English frame quilt. 
Some more gorgeous fabrics in the English frame quilt. 


A couple more crib quilts and a pair of early pink and green pillow cases.

    I love the eye candy!! thanks for sharing Sue! I especially liked the scrappy star with the navy print alternate blocks and the unique log cabin style star - BEAUTIFUL!!

    These are really beautiful and we should not in the least mind owning them all!! What is so incredible to our eyes is the quality of the work and the time spent to create each quilt. We do hope that the exhibition is proving a great success with visitor numbers.

    Wonderful, wonderful display - thank you! There is such a variety of vintage there. I am intrigued by the little folded brown/cream one in the middle of the last photo - with the stars in the centre. Beautiful! Would it be all EPP?
