The American museum collection's quilts were a lot calmer on the eye.
Much to soon it was time for Linda to leave and continue her journey. It was a great quilty weekend and so worthwhile putting in the miles to see fabulous quilts.
We will meet again some time some where and you can rest assured that quilts will be involved.
Sue
Thanks for your pictures! I have the book from the American Museum and would love a chance to see them in person. Calmer to the eye, yes, but it would be at thrill to see, nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteOh what a treat to see this museum and the exhibit! Thanks for posting pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your photos! Beautiful quilts!
ReplyDeleteIsn''t great to have quilting friends from all over? Lovely quilts, looks like a museum I should visit one day (think I have a book with quilts from their collection)!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great way to cap off the trip!
ReplyDeleteSue, you and Linda packed it in. You know I'd been right there taking it all in too. Kaffe Fassett's work has always intrigued me. What fun to see this exhibit! Love the blue and white basket quilt!
ReplyDeleteThe American Museum is a delight to visit and the Kaffe Fassett exhibition is a riot of colour
