Where does the time go!!!!! I look back and cannot believe how much has happened in my life.
I have made so many friends around the world through the blog it's incredible. Many of you I will probably never meet but feel like their will always be bonds that tie
So I'm having a three year anniversary giveaway. Its a kit that I bought at the 2007 Vermont Quilt Festival.
The kit is by Froncie Quinn In The Time of Toile. The centre is broderie perse and know for sure I will never make it, So if anyone would like it please leave a comment and I will get someone to pull names out of the hat on Tuesday the 5th February.
Thank you to all of you who have left comments and stuck with me through my trials and tributations over the past three years.
Happy Stitching
Sue

ReplyDeleteThree years.....Congrats, Sue! And this quilt is gorgeous! I learned broderie perse from Elly Sienkiewicz about 12 years ago! It was so much fun, and she's a wonderful teacher. But I can't say I've done much of it since. But if I won this, I definitely would make it! :o) Thanks for the chance!

I have never met a toile that I don't like! My friends know that there will be a piece of toile someplace in almost every quilt that I make. I don't know how I missed this kit. Thank you for sharing it!.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Love your blog and the giveaway is awesome. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteSue, Happy Anniversary. How kind of you to offer this give away. I have never tried to win a give away from a blog. I don't have a blog and I don't belong to a guild. I read blogs and have made so many friends that I may never meet but have enriched my life in so many ways, quilting and other ways. I feel like I need to have a give away for everyone that has been so generous to blog all these years and encourage the rest of us. Truly, so many of you are a blessing to me and I have learned so much. But Saturday when I saw your post it brought tears to my eyes. What a generous give away. Your post spoke to me in so many ways. On my bucket list is to attend the Vermont Quilt Festival one day, I have a fondness for Toile and have a special shelf dedicated to my Toile stash (addiction), I have been wanting to tackle a Medallion quilt but I worry so about having the "right" fabrics. Thank you for blogging for those of us who don't but enjoy following those that do.

What a three years it's been, Sue. I do enjoy reading your posts. Love Froncie's fabric, I miss her Hoopla booth at Vermont Quilt Festival. Thanks for the give away. Jill R.
